After gaining valuable experience at OC Kaligis & Associates, he continued his career by joining Lukman Amalia Law Firm, also one of Indonesia’s leading law firms. At Lukman Amalia Law Firm, TH deepened his legal expertise in various fields, including business law, contracts, and dispute resolution. Furthermore, TH has worked with PT Huawei Tech Investment, where he provided legal services covering technology contracts and intellectual property rights protection, and understands the legal dynamics associated with technological innovation and development in Indonesia. Mr. Ivan Irawan (‘II’), a professional known for his dedication and competence in the field of law as well as his commitment to continuous improvement, began his academic journey with a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Indonesia in 1986, which marked the beginning of his illustrious career in law. With a visionary mindset and ambition to become a multidimensional professional, Ivan did not stop there; he continued to develop his skills by taking a certification programmed at Jimly Law School, where in 2020 he obtained recognition as a Certified Legal Auditor, an achievement that demonstrates his expertise in conducting comprehensive and analytical legal audits, an area that is highly strategic in managing legal risks in corporations and organizations.
Not content with his academic and professional achievements, Ivan also has an unwavering passion for learning, which prompted him to return to university to broaden his horizons. He is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Strategic Finance, a major step towards strengthening his understanding of complex and strategic financial management and bridging the gap between legal and financial aspects that are increasingly relevant in the context of globalization and fast-changing economic dynamics. Ivan also made significant contributions to PT Transportasi Gas Indonesia, where he assumed the role of Corporate Secretary, a strategic position that serves as a key link between the company’s management, shareholders, regulators, and various other stakeholders. In this capacity, she is responsible for ensuring the implementation of good corporate governance, maintaining effective and transparent communication with external parties, and managing compliance with relevant regulations in the gas and energy sector. Her duties include managing key legal documents, planning and conducting strategic meetings, including general meetings of shareholders (GMS), as well as ensuring that all company operations are conducted in accordance with applicable legal and ethical standards. Thereafter, AM continued his career at Arie Hutagalung & Partners, a law firm led by University of Indonesia Agrarian Law Professor, Prof. Arie Sukanti Hutagalung, SH, MLI. At this firm, AM was directly involved in handling a variety of very specific and challenging agrarian law matters. The experience of working under Prof Hutagalung has given him a deep insight into agrarian law and land policy in Indonesia, as well as the ability to address legal issues involving highly complex land ownership and use.
